Game Format

Team Format:
Teams are based on up to 8 players (6 players are recommended).
A minimum of 4 players must be present at a match or defaults will occur.

Coach to Specify Player Line-Up Each Week:
Player line-up should be in order of strength for both singles and doubles.

No-ad scoring: In calling the score of a no-ad game, players will call the score 15, 30, 40 and game. The first player to win 4 points wins the game. If the score reaches 40 all (deuce), the 7th or next point becomes the game point. If games reach 7 all then a 12 point tiebreaker shall be played. In singles, the receiver can chose to receive either in the deuce or ad court at 40 all (deuce).

12 Point Tiebreak:
If the score reaches 7 all, players must play a 12 point tie break----the first player (or doubles team) to 7 by a margin of 2. The player whose turn it is to serve shall serve the first point of the tiebreak. The opponent shall serve the second and third points and thereafter each player shall serve alternately for two points until the winner has been decided.

In doubles, it is the same rocdure, the first server shall serve one point to the right side of the court (deuce side). Thereafter, each player shall serve in rotation for two points, in the same order previously used in the set. Change ends of the court every six points. Normal 1st point to deuce court; 2nd & 3rd point, opponent serves starting in the ad court -continue in this order.

Match Win Criteria:
A team win is determined by the total number of game points won from all of the mini matches played. This encourages kids to try their best as EVERY GAME COUNTS! In case of a tied total team game points won then the win will go to the team with the most mini match wins. If min matches are also tied, the win will be awarded to the team winning doubles mini match #1.
